I was on a 2.5-week trip to Thailand with stopovers in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Yesterday, February the 2nd, I had spent in Singapore. Today, on the 3rdof February, I would fly to Kuala Lumpur.
I woke up half an hour before my alarm would have gone off, at 5.30. I packed up, checked out of my hotel, and caught an MRT train to Changi Airport. I arrived at the airport shortly after 7, three hours before my flight to Kuala Lumpur would depart. Check in and immigration went smoothly as always, and so I had plenty of time for breakfast: vegetarian ramen and a lovely latte. My flight departed almost 15 minutes prior to schedule and landed 25 minutes early. Immigration was done within no time, and my backpack was delivered soon after our landing. I caught KLIA Ekspres, the airport expresstrain that takes passengers into KL Sentral within only 28 minutes, and arrived at my hotel, Aloft KL Sentral, just before noon. My room was not ready yet, so I left my luggage in the luggage store room and headed off into town.
